Voice Disorder Treatment in Brisbane

If your voice has become hoarse, strained, weak, or tires easily, it's treatable — and you don't have to live with it.

At Professional Speech Pathology, we assess and treat voice disorders in adults and children aged 5 and up. This includes hoarseness, vocal fatigue, and voice changes following surgery.

We work closely with ENT surgeons, often providing diagnostic voice clinic assessments jointly with a specialist. We also have a extensive experience in peri-operative and post-operative voice therapy, helping you get the best possible outcome before and after procedures affecting your voice.

Appointments are available in person at our Spring Hill rooms (St Andrews War Memorial Hospital and Ladhope Chambers) or via telehealth from anywhere in Queensland or Australia.

Conditions we treat:

  • Vocal cord nodules, polyps, cysts, and scarring.
  • Hyperfunctional voice disorders / muscle tension dysphonia.
  • Vocal fold paralysis/paresis.
  • Functional voice disorder.
  • Spasmodic dysphonia
  • Age-related voice changes
  • Vocal inefficiency
  • Voice changes linked to Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions
  • Pre and post operative support for gender affirming vocal surgery
