Swallowing Assessment and VFSS in Brisbane

Difficulty or discomfort swallowing — including a sensation of a lump in the throat (globus) — can have a real impact on daily life, and it's important to have it properly assessed. We provide specialist swallowing assessments for adults, including videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS), conducted with Radiology at Queensland X-Ray, Mater Private Hospital.

A referral from your GP or specialist is required for VFSS. Once we receive your referral, we'll be in touch to arrange a suitable time and coordinate the appointment directly with Queensland X-Ray.
